Individualized Personal Instruction

Individulized instruction

This is a method of learning yoga based on the traditional teacher [Guru] student[Sanyasi] method. Yoga was taught for thousands of years one to one by teacher to  student. All ancient texts on yoga have stressed that it is essential to work under the direction of a teacher and although yoga can be practiced alone with the help of a good book or video you need a teacher to guide you safely and to make progress. Group classes are a relatively new method of learning yoga and may not be the best method for you.
These are some of the reasons to choose to learn yoga on an individualized personal programme.
1. Physical limitations or health restrictions e.g. injuries, high or low blood pressure; other health matters which you are working to improve can be better addressed in a one to one session.
2.Individualized sessions can be booked to suit your own schedule.
3.An individualized programme will be designed for your own personal progress. You could make better progress than you have been in a group.
4. Personal instruction can help you to build and to maintain a disciplined home practice.
5.You can have a once  monthly individualized session to supplement your group class attendance.

Payment for this method of learning is required in advance for a block 5 sessions at a time to ensure progress.
